About the project
The Muhuru Lake Basin Digital Connectivity project aims to connect 3,000 community members in Nyatike Sub-County to affordable and reliable internet while equipping them with digital skills to thrive in the digital blue economy. The project will connect 5 primary schools, 1 health center, and a 5 public Wi-Fi hotspot, and set up a community ICT hub for e-government and cybercafe services. The project also aims at training 25 teachers, 100 small traders, and boda-boda operators in Basic ICT and digital literacy; the initiative will enhance education, healthcare, and economic opportunities, fostering sustainable development in the region.
