About the project
DIGI-TEACH is an inclusive digital literacy and capacity-building project aimed at digitally empowering 50 teachers and 50 deaf students in Bauchi State. Through the project, 50 teachers will be trained on digital literacy, online safety, and responsible technology use; on how to use digital tools for learning and teaching effectively; and on an introduction to artificial intelligence (AI), including how to leverage AI to support lesson planning, teaching, and professional development. Teachers will be equipped with the knowledge and practical tools they require to enable them to extend this digital literacy and online safety training to their respective schools and communities
Updates
A meeting with representatives from key stakeholders has already been held.
The Zee Tech Foundation team has also started preparing for the next stage of implementation, including the teacher selection/interviews and training activities.
About the partner
Zee Tech Foundation is a youth-focused NGO that aims to promote digital literacy across under-served urban and rural communities. The organization was founded in 2020, and has since been supporting these under-served communities to harness ICT for learning and development.
