About the project

The Internet Society South Sudan Chapter aims to establish reliable internet connectivity at Yei Resource Center in Yei River County. Building on prior digital skills training conducted in the capital Juba and community network readiness assessments conducted in Yei and Nimule, this project will install an internet access point in Yei Community Resource Center, train three local network technicians for ongoing maintenance, and deliver a 3-day digital literacy and online safety training for 30 community members. The initiative aims to create a sustainable model for community-based connectivity, enabling access to education, economic opportunities, and digital services in a previously underserved area.
